Referred to collectively as TIW Group, we consist of two related contracting entities: Tidewater Interior Wall and Ceiling, Inc. (“TIW”), a Class-A drywall contractor founded in 1998, and Mid-Atlantic Painting, Inc. (“MAP”), a Class-A painting contractor founded in 2002.  We provide residential and commercial services for builders and general contractors who care about quality.

Our Mission Statement, “To provide the highest quality service to 100% of our customers, large and small, with complete professionalism, above and beyond the standard of the industry, and always in a timely manner”, has been the cornerstone around which we have built our business and customer base.  The work we produce is the final product; we like that you can see our quality!

We are two companies sharing the same philosophy: “to provide high-quality, fast-paced production, with customer service at our core.”  While the TIW Group has a very large subcontractor base, it oversees each individual job with our well-seasoned staff of Field Superintendents to ensure we provide that quality, speed, and service.

The TIW Group’s current focus is on Residential Drywall in both a production and custom environment, as well as Apartments and Commercial Work, including light metal framing, insulation, drywall and ceiling tile applications.

Headquartered in Chesapeake, VA, it’s been over twenty years since we first started serving the Tidewater and Northeastern North Carolina areas. Combined with the experience of our many long-term employees, being in business that long built the foundation of our excellence, quality, and sound construction practices.  By combining drywall and painting applications, we offer a synergy that fosters an overall better customer service, efficiency, and value for the homebuilders and general contractors with whom we partner.
